ABOUT Tom Kolovos is an image consultant, fashion stylist, writer and television commentator. He has served as fashion editor of Today’s Chicago Woman, as the fashion and style contributor for the NBC5 Weekend Morning News and written about style and fashion for nbcchicago.com After pursuing his undergraduate studies in Economics and graduate work in Political Philosophy at the University of Chicago, Tom taught political sociology and popular culture at the Illinois Institute of Technology. Before interviews with USA Today, NBC, FOX, CBS and his blog on nbcchicago.com established him as one of the leading authorities on style and presidential politics in campaign 2008, he was the stylist responsible for Michelle Obama’s first magazine cover. He has produced fashion and charity events for, among others, Bloomingdale’s, Neiman Marcus and Burberry. He worked on “Oprah Make Over My Man” with Carson Kresley and he continues to serve as “resident fashion and style expert” for NBC5. He is currently styling a client for a 13 episode television series.
